Keeping your bank account details up to date ensures deposits and withdrawals are processed to the correct bank account. If you've recently changed your bank account, it’s important to let us know as soon as possible.

Why It’s Important to Keep Your Bank Account Updated

Glasgow Credit Union uses your linked bank account details for:

  • Collecting Direct Debit contributions
  • Making deposits to savings accounts
  • Making withdrawals from your savings accounts
  • Processing any loan advances

Incorrect bank details may result in delayed or failed transactions.

How to update your linked bank account on our mobile app.

To update your linked bank account using the Glasgow Credit Union Mobile App, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Glasgow Credit Union Mobile App.
  2. Tap the menu icon located in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Select ‘My Details’ from the menu options.
  4. Tap ‘My Bank Details’.
  5. Select ‘Request Bank Account Change’.
  6. Enter your new account number and sort code.
  7. Tap ‘Submit’ to send your request.

Once submitted, our team will review your request and may contact you to confirm the change. For security purposes, you may be asked to provide a recent bank statement showing your name, account number, and sort code.
